Jane Murray, MD is an engaging, warm and knowledgeable doctor who speaks widely to national audiences about women’s health and integrating conventional Western medicine with other healing practices.  Dr. Murray is the Board Chair of Women in Balance, a national nonprofit association, based in Washington, DC, dedicated to helping women achieve optimal health, wellness and hormone balance through public education and the promotion of research.

Dr. Murray has been involved in teaching and practicing medicine for over 25 years, as well as providing medical leadership as Director of Education for the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) from 1986-1991 and as Chair of the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center from 1991-1998.  She continues to work with the AAFP.


She earned her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of California at Los Angeles.  In 1998, she founded the Sastun Center of Integrative Health Care in Mission, KS, where she works with colleagues from a variety of healing arts.
