Guiding Principles

At Women in Balance, we believe it is time to approach women's health in a balanced way.

Optimal health begins with healthy lifestyle choices. Women and health care providers are increasingly aware of the critical role that nutrition, exercise and stress reduction play in optimal health, preventing disease, and in restoring hormone balance.  There is an overwhelming and compelling body of scientific evidence that show these elements are critical to reducing and even preventing disease.

Health care providers deserve to have access to full and complete information and research on hormone balance.  Providers increasingly want to know the full spectrum of treatment options and how to utilize those with their patients.

We are partners in health with women – knowledge is a powerful tool, and we know that when women have all the information available to them, they can make educated decisions about their own health in partnership with their health care provider.

Solutions and Convenience Matters – we know even the best information is not enough.  Women want to know where to find a qualified doctor or health professional nearby who can work with them to provide specific solutions to address their individual health needs.  It is the number one question women ask – "how can I find a doctor who knows about hormone balance?" We are building a referral network of providers for women.

At Women in Balance we reach women where they are and provide the best knowledge combined with health professionals, services and products in their community.

We encourage all those who partner with us to follow our guiding principles:

Balance

The foundation of optimal women's health begins with balance: a wholesome diet, exercise, stress management, enough sleep, and when appropriate nutritional supplements and only if needed bioidentical hormone supplementation in physiological doses.

Individuality

There is no one dose or approach to optimal health and hormone balance that fits every woman. Ideally, women should work with a qualified health care professional knowledgeable about hormone balancing and optimal health solutions to determine what her needs are.

Support of Natural Solutions for Health

Women in Balance educates women and health professionals about safe, effective and natural health solutions for women over forty.

Altruism

Women in Balance is a non-profit association and does not promote any commercial products, entities or individuals.
